Jori McCune

Restoration Specialist

As an Idaho native, Jori grew up in Pocatello, where she enjoyed spending time with family in the Wood River Valley and in Swan Valley on the South Fork of the Snake River. At an early age, she uncovered her passion to celebrate and protect Idaho lands and waters through backpacking with her dad in the Sawtooth and White Clouds Wilderness.Jori earned a bachelor’s degree in environmental science at Westminster College and is working to complete her master’s degree in environmental studies at the Evergreen State College. She is excited to have circled back to her home roots of Idaho to work with the Wood River Land Trust to preserve and restore wild spaces for generations to come.Outside of work, Jori enjoys trail running, reading, mountain biking, and romping in the Idaho mountains with her yellow lab, Samson.
