Connie graduated from UC Berkeley followed by a Masters in Education from Stanford and a J.D. from University of Denver College of Law. She started her career as a development officer at Stanford. After getting her law degree, she practiced estate planning and probate in Denver. Realizing that people often neglected their personal financial matter, she started Home Management Systems, a seminar business on How to Run Your Life Like a Business. She wrote Simply Organized and 30 Days to a Simpler Life. She was close to the Peninsula Open Space Trust in Silicon Valley since its inception in the 80’s and the values and successes of that organization informed her commitment to preserving open space.

Since moving to San Francisco in 2000, she joined and led the Major Gifts Committee at KQED.

“We bought our house in Sun Valley as a rental in 2006 planning to be here a couple of weeks a year. Needless to say, we have grown to love the Valley and continue to spend more time here. The sheltering in place in Spring of 2020 inspired us to make Sun Valley our home and have San Francisco be our place to vacation.”
