Our preserves are always open! Spring is slowly emerging here in the Wood River Valley, and getting out in the fresh air is a good way to stay active while respecting social distancing recommendations. Take a minute to look closely for little peeps of green buds throughout the landscape. During this time of uncertainty, nature can bring you peace and solace.
We will continue to work hard to protect the wild spaces here in the heart of Idaho. Not only are we moving new projects forward, but we want to keep you from feeling too isolated during your own social distancing. We will be active on social media, and want to hear from you! Did you get out on a preserve? Did you see a sign of spring? What flies are the fish biting on? Let us know, and we’ll share your stories!
As COVID 19 starts to change some of our daily realities here in the Wood River Valley, we are committed to keeping our staff and community safe. We have temporarily closed our offices, and are working from home until April 5. If you need to contact us during this time, please use email or leave a message at 208-788-3947 and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
We are a community, and the land that we have protected together over the years is a vital part of what makes our home so special. Take advantage of it now – stay safe out there mentally, physically, and emotionally. And know that these treasured landscapes are here for you – now and for generations to come.
All the best,
The Board and Staff of the Wood River Land Trust
Take A Minute To Enjoy Our Short Film – HOME
If you can’t get out on one of our preserves, taking a minute to remember what makes this Valley so special can be a good reset. The gorgeous scenery alone makes us feel better, but knowing some things are certain in a time of uncertainty is invaluable.
