  • Past President

  • Ranch Broker

  • Fly Angler

In 1994, after spending his first summer in Idaho working at Silver Creek Outfitters, Trent took a position with the Idaho Nature Conservancy (TNC) where he spent the next eight years involved with conservation real estate activities around the state of Idaho. After his tenure with TNC, Trent joined Hall and Hall Ranch Brokers, a rural property brokerage firm founded in 1946 and based in Billings, Montana. Trent spent four years on the Hailey Planning & Zoning Commission addressing local land-use and development issues. Trent is a dedicated fly fisherman and upland bird hunter. He became a Land Trust Director in 2007 and served as Board President until 2014.

“It’s important for the Wood River Land Trust to leverage contributions with public funding and other private funding. Equally important are opportunities to leverage protected land and to work with conservation buyers who willingly purchase a property with a conservation easement and work to further our conservation goals on the property.”
