Megan was born and raised in the Wood River Valley and is passionate about helping to preserve all the elements of her home town. After graduating from Montana State University, Megan returned to the Valley to work for her family’s business and to focus on community conservation projects. She has worked and volunteered at many local organizations, including the Idaho Conservation League, Friends of the Sawtooth National Avalanche Center and Blaine County Recreation District. She is the mother of young twins, and in her free time she is an avid mountain biker and alpine skier.
“Through my family’s conservation easement donation to the Wood River Land Trust, I learned first-hand the value of protecting open space and wildlife habitat. As a board member, I feel I can take an active role in land conservation and preservation.”
