Retired Real Estate Investor
Jack Kueneman and his wife moved to the Wood River Valley in 1999. Their road here began with a ski vacation in 1970, followed by more ski trips, and their first summer vacation. Jack’s career in real estate investment management took him and his family to Japan in the late 1980’s. During those years his family spent summers in the Valley. Jack joined the Board of Directors in 2005 and became Treasurer in 2006. He served as Board President until 2012 and is the current Governance Committee Chair.
“One of my main goals as a Board member has been to assist in the evolution of the Wood River Land Trust from a near start-up conservation non-profit, towards a mature, sustainable organization. I now believe we have a platform that can provide a base for our great staff to fulfill the Land Trust’s mission over the long term. Land conservation is a “long term business” and I want my grandchildren and their grandchildren to see the Wood River Valley as I have seen it.”
