We Speak For The Trees: Wood River Land Trust & The Community School
With a generous grant from WowStudents.org, the 2012-2013 Community School Kindergarten class made this video for Wood River Land Trust. Based on Dr. Seuss’ book The Lorax, local students spoke for the trees and the importance of protecting nature. The class used this project as a theme for learning about conservation during their school year and the Land Trust used the video as a tool to educate other students and the community about the importance our mission.
As you watch this wonderful video remember that your gifts to the Land Trust will benefit our next generation, leaving protected and restored landscapes for them to enjoy and explore. We hope some of these children grow up to be the next leaders of conservation.
