In 2009, Wood River Land Trust, the Environmental Resource Center, Sawtooth National Recreation Area, and the Idaho Department of Fish and Game developed the Wood River Valley Chapter of the Idaho Master Naturalist Program. The program educates members of the general public in order to deepen their understanding of our natural world, and to develop a corps of volunteers to lead programs and offer services to various non-profits and agencies in our area.
