In the late 1990’s Bruce Tidwell saw the need for a place where used materials from buildings and homes could be donated and sold for substantially lower cost than purchasing new materials. Thus began a venture that is more popular than ever—the Building Material Thrift Store (BMTS).
All proceeds from BMTS go to Wood River Land Trust and our efforts to protect our local land, water and wildlife habitat.
Contractors, homeowners and landowners see the value of recycling almost anything, including doors, windows, bathtubs, tiles and appliances.
Your donations to the thrift store and your purchases of recycled items help our community in more way than one, by reducing dump material in our landfill and helping to save our cherished landscapes.
