These easements define a property’s uses to protect the land’s water, wildlife habitat, and native plants and can also protect farmland and scenic views. Mapping efforts have been made possible by a grant through ESRI
Wood River Land Trust has received Environmental Conservation Program Grants since 2009 that have been put towards the purchase of a research-grade GPS unit and our GIS mapping software license.  Mapping work is critical to monitoring conservation easements, managing preserves, and creating maps such as these, thanks ESRI !!
